30 giugno 2009, festa di piazza a Bellizzi, comune del salernitano famoso per essere la città più pulita d’Italia, sul palco sale Dolcenera, finalmente vedo quest’ artista dal vivo. La curiosità mi assale, vedo questa ragazza con il codino ,magra e piccina, che richiama ( volutamente o no) la Juno del film vincitore d’Oscar,la voce c’è senza dubbio, le sue canzoni sono semplici , arrangiamenti che si spingono un po’ più in là del pop, cercando qualche vena di rock non molto riuscito, uniche eccezioni le cover di AMERICA della Nannini, qualche canzone della BERTE’ . Unica pecca, sono proprio le cover, non tanto per la qualità di esecuzione su cui non si discute, ben suonate e ben cantate, ma appunto la quantità, forse eccessiva, quasi come se il vecchio richiamo televisivo le sta ancora addosso, come si dice, omaggi si, ma senza esagerare! In definitiva, se vi trovate e avete occasione di ascoltarla , fatelo, certo non sarà il cocnerto che vi cambierà la vita, ma non andrete via delusi!

Ora un po’ di Dolcenera:
Nel 2002 Dolcenera debutta partecipando alle selezioni del concorso “Destinazione Sanremo” trasmesso su Rai2, entrando tra i finalisti ammessi alla partecipazione del Festival.
Nel 2003 si classifica al primo posto della 53a edizione del Festival di Sanremo Giovani con il brano “Siamo tutti la’ fuori” e pubblica il suo primo album “Sorriso Nucleare”, conquistando anche il premio assegnato dalla Sala Stampa, Radio e Tv. Inizia un’intensa promozione che la vede impegnata in un tour di oltre 30 concerti in tutta Italia per presentare il suo primo album e nello stesso anno si esibisce in piazza San Pietro per il “Concerto in Vaticano” e canta per i ragazzi detenuti nel carcere minorile di Casal del Marmo di Roma.
Nel 2005 vince “Music Farm” con “Mai piu’ noi due” ed esce il secondo album “Un Mondo Perfetto” che si aggiudica il disco di platino e resta in classifica per un anno. Dolcenera conquista sempre piu’ consenso di pubblico, in un tour che tocca piu’ di 50 citta’ italiane.
Nel 2005 Dolcenera ottiene diversi premi: Premio De Andre’, “miglior artista emergente” al M.E.I., Leone d’argento come “rivelazione musicale dell’anno” e pubblica la “Special Edition” dell’album “Un Mondo Perfetto” contenente anche il DVD live dove duetta con Claudio Baglioni e Loredana Berte’.
Nel febbraio 2006 pubblica “Dolcenera canta il cinema”, album realizzato in esclusiva per la 20th Century Fox, in cui Dolcenera reinterpreta le piu’ belle canzoni del cinema americano.
Nel marzo 2006 e’ protagonista del Festival di Sanremo con “Com’e’ straordinaria la vita” e pubblica il suo terzo album, “Il popolo dei Sogni”, che si aggiudica in una settimana il disco d’oro fino ad arrivare al disco di platino, partecipa come ospite musicale fisso alla trasmissione “Il Tornasole”, condotta da Andrea Pezzi, interpretando le canzoni piu’ importanti della storia del rock.
Nel luglio 2006 Dolcenera viene premiata al “Venice Music Awards” come “The best voice”, e’ testimonial dell’UNICEF per la campagna globale “Uniti per i bambini, Uniti contro l’AIDS” e canta per i detenuti del Carcere di Regina Coeli.

In agosto 2006 pubblica in Germania, Austria e Svizzera “Un mondo Perfetto”, album che raccoglie le piu’ belle canzoni tratte dal suo repertorio, il singolo “Passo dopo Passo” con relativo video girato durante “La fete de la musique” di Parigi e del singolo “Mai piu’ noi due”.
Grazie al successo ottenuto dalle vendite di questo disco in Germania, parte a marzo 2007 un Tour nelle principali citta’ tedesche, con una nuova edizione dell’album tedesco “Un Mondo Perfetto – Tour Edition”, con diverse versioni live delle canzoni.
Nel 2007 firma e interpreta la canzone “In fondo alla notte” per il film “La notte del mio primo amore”, che riadatta in italiano, ed interpreta due canzoni ,”Mon Amour” e “Sei tu”, del film francese “Finche’ nozze non ci separino” (vincitore del MIFF – Milano Film Festival) e partecipa come attrice al film “Scrivilo sui muri” con Cristiana Capotondi e Primo Reggiani per la regia di Giancarlo Scarchilli.
Nel 2008, dopo il successo del concerto al Deutches Theater di Monaco ed il concerto dal “Grand Arche a la Defense” di Parigi per l’assegnazione all’Italia dell’Expo 2015, Dolcenera apre i concerti di Zucchero in Austria, in aprile, poi ancora, a maggio, a Monaco, all’Olympiaicestadion, per la celebrazione dell’apertura del piu’ grande museo del rock in Germania che le dedica uno spazio all’interno del museo. In giugno, Dolcenera e’ ospite di Vasco Rossi ed apre i suoi concerti del 14 e 15 dallo stadio del Conero di Ancona e, in luglio, si esibisce con la sua band al Festival internazionale della musica di Cartagine a Tunisi e all’Expo 2008 di Saragozza in Spagna.

Nel 2009 Dolcenera partecipa alla 59a edizione del Festival di Sanremo con un brano dal titolo “Il mio amore unico”. La canzone, è inserita nel nuovo album “Dolcenera nel paese delle meraviglie”, che anticipa il tour.
