Lamù ,La ragazza dello spazio ritorna in edicola grazie alla De Agostini !La nuova edizione del cartone in dvd, in versione integrale, almeno si spera, sarà così composta:sono previste 61 uscite, ciascuna composta da un fascicolo e un dvd,la prima uscita è già in edicola, le successive fino all’uscita n. 15 saranno in edicola a cadenza quattordicinale, dall’uscita n. 16 saranno in edicola a cadenza settimanale, la prima uscita costa 3,99 € mentre le successive 8,99 €.Ma chi è questa ragazza dello spazio? Lamù (うる星やつら, Urusei Yatsura) è un manga pubblicato in Giappone dal 1978 al 1987, scritto e disegnato da Rumiko Takahashi, dal quale sono stati tratti una serie anime televisiva, sei film ed undici OAV. Nel 1981 la serie ha vinto il Premio Shogakukan per i manga in entrambe le categorie shōnen e shōjo, nel 1987 il Premio Seiun come miglior fumetto SF/fantasy. La storia narra le bizzarre avventure di un gruppo di liceali che vivono a Tomobiki, località immaginaria nel distretto cittadino di Nerima, Tokyo, dove frequentano l’omonimo Liceo. La vicenda in particolare ruota intorno ad Ataru Moroboshi, un ragazzo estremamente sfortunato e donnaiolo, e a Lamù, figlia del grande capo degli Oni giunto dallo spazio per invadere la Terra. Vestita unicamente di un bikini tigrato, Lamù s’innamora di Ataru dopo aver frainteso una sua frase per una proposta di matrimonio. Le avventure sono organizzate per singoli episodi, ed in alcuni casi un episodio è diviso in più puntate. Gli argomenti sono in genere la sfortuna e le avventure sentimentali di Ataru che si incrociano con gli insoliti alieni amici di Lamù o con i terrestri suoi “simili” dalle personalità più grottesche. Molte delle situazioni che di volta in volta si presentano, altro non sono che parodie della società moderna e del folklore giapponesi (un po’ come sono i Simpson per il pubblico statunitense).Nel passaggio dal manga all’anime alcune storie sono state parzialmente modificate per adattarle alla animazione, mentre alcune storie tra gli ultimi capitoli e qualche personaggio presenti nel manga, non sono stati trasposti in animazione. La serie televisiva venne prodotta da Kitty Films, Studio Pierrot e Fuji Television, tra il 1981 e il 1986. Vennero prodotti e trasmessi 195 episodi.Buona parte degli episodi della serie non sono tratti da storie presenti nel manga e sono creazioni originali dello staff : alcuni di questi si discostano anche pesantemente dal consueto tono del manga, soprattutto quelli realizzati quando a capo dello staff c’era Oshii.Nella serie sono presenti numerosi riferimenti, in chiave ironico-satirica, alla cultura nipponica (tra cui gli stessi anime) e in particolare alle molteplici leggende giapponesi, ma anche alla cultura occidentale e ai suoi costumi, tra cui molte citazioni cinematografiche.

Per lei, 14enne della sperduta isola di Man, nel Mar d’Irlanda, milioni di contatti sul Web e in arrivo ci sono anche un dvd e un cd. Si dice “nemo profeta in patria” e anche lei non sfugge alla regola. A regalarle la popolarità sono stati infatti i fan giapponesi. D’altronde, visto il genere di arte scelto da Beckii non poteva essere altrimenti. Lei racconta di essere stata ispirata dal manga “Fruit Basket”. In ogni caso, con il suo fisico gracile e una contagiosa vena danzereccia, si è giù guadagnata una partecipazione a uno show a Tokyo nel distretto di Akhiabara, considerato il simbolo della cultura otaku, ovvero degli appassionati di manga.

Trama: Il film narra la commovente vicenda di un cane di razza Akita che per dieci lunghi anni attese ogni giorno il padrone alla stazione nella speranza di vederlo scendere dal treno, come d’abitudine. Il film è tratto da una storia vera ed è un remake di un vecchio film giapponese, infatti la storia del cane Hachiko è celebre e conosciuta in Giappone tanto da essere diventata una statua eretta nella stazione di Shibuya, nello stesso punto dove il cane era solito aspettare il suo padrone. Oggi la statua è diventata un tradizionale punto di incontro per tutti i ragazzi di Tokyo, ma soprattutto per i giovani innamorati giapponesi che si recano in questo luogo grazie al profondo significato di fedeltà che la statua di Hachiko tramanda.

Plot: The film tells the touching story of a dog breed Akita who waited for ten long years the owner of the station every day hoping to see him get off the train, as usual. The film is based on a true story and is a remake of an old Japanese film, in fact the history of the dog Hachiko is famous and known in Japan it has become a statue erected in Shibuya station, in the same spot where the dog was usually wait for his master. Today the statue has become a traditional meeting point for all the kids in Tokyo, but mostly for the Japanese young lovers who go to this place thanks to the deep sense of loyalty that handed down the statue of Hachiko.

Lady Oscar non è una candida bambina a cui le caprette fanno ciao e neppure un’infermierina il cui nome ha dato vita a una sindrome, quella di Candy Candy: più mi fai male, più ti amerò, meglio se sei bello, tenebroso e non mi fili. Ma non è neanche un cumulo di acciaio come Jeeg, o un eversivo come Capitan Harlock, disturbante per la sua anarchia. Lady Oscar va oltre. È una lei androgina, un travestito etero, una bambina trasformata dal padre in guardia reale al servizio di Maria Antonietta. E grazie a Lady Oscar, negli anni ‘80, le ambiguità del mondo dei manga e degli anime sbarcano in Occidente senza schermi velati. Semmai, con un sadismo strisciante.  Da noi, nel 1982, il successo della serie tv è strepitoso. Orde di ragazzini corrono a casa per vederla, persino gli insegnanti la raccomandano per la sua valenza storica (proprio così…). In Giappone invece il boom non è immediato. Arriva con il successo degli autori del manga, come Riyoko Ikeda, e degli anime in tv, soprattutto di Osamu Dezaki (Jenny la tennista, Lupin III) con le sue inquadrature oblique espressioniste e l’uso dello split screen. Intanto, Lady Oscar “italiana” subisce la censura, e molte ambiguità vengono eliminate o ridimensionate nella traduzione. Prostitute diventano mendicanti, si glissa sulle accuse di relazione omosessuale tra Maria Antonietta e Oscar, e vengono tagliate le scene d’amore tra lei e André. Ma in fondo, anche questo fa di Lady Oscar un fenomeno. E un franchise: oggi c’è questo doppio box (40 episodi in 4 dischi, doppia opzione audio italiano e giapponese, sigla originale, schede). Prima, ci sono stati musical, pièce teatrali e un film di Jacques Demy, con Patsy Kensit nei panni di Oscar bambina. Come cantavano i Cavalieri del Re: “Il buon padre voleva un maschietto, ma, ahimè, sei nata tu…”.

Per la prima volta al mondo il fumetto di “Mazinger Z”, l’opera da cui ha avuto inizio il genere robotico, nella sua unica edizione integrale in volumetto!! Rivedremo così  tutte le storie com’erano nella loro prima edizione su “Shonen Jump”, col il design originale del dottor Yumi, Sayaka, Blocken e tanti altri, prima dunque che venisse ritoccato per i volumetti pubblicati dopo il 1973!! Non solo: sono state reintegrate centinaia di tavole andate perdute o distrutte quando fu lanciata la raccolta di Kodansha e, per la prima volta al mondo dopo la pubblicazione su rivista del 1972/73, ripristinate tutte le tavole a colori di cui sono rimasti gli originali!! Una raccolta integrale, finora disponibile in Giappone solo in edizione tascabile completamente in bianco e nero, che presenta perfino tutti i commenti che Nagai pubblicava ogni settimana su “Shonen Jump”, nei quali lo ritroviamo ancora ventenne alla presa con i brufoli e la nostalgia per la cucina di mamma! Ma questa edizione offre anche l’occasione di riscoprire tutti i personaggi del più grande mito del manga come non li abbiamo mai conosciuti prima: il protagonista Koji Kabuto e il fratello Shiro; un Juzo Kabuto dall’aspetto ben diverso da quello che abbiamo visto in TV, del quale scopriamo anche che è uno scienziato plurimiliardario grazie agli introiti delle numerosissime invenzioni e scoperte da lui brevettate; un professor Yumi “capellone” e una Sayaka Yumi platinata; il commissario Ankokuji, personaggio di spicco nel fumetto di Nagai, ma completamente ignorato nell’edizione televisiva… Un’edizione curata che offre per la prima volta al pubblico fuori del Giappone un manga che ha cambiato la storia!!

Era l’anno 1995, anno in cui la Bandai Visual inseriva nel proprio catalogo un nuovo lungometraggio d’animazione: Ghost in the Shell. L’anime in questione era, certo, la trasposizione animata del manga di Masamune Shirow (1991), ma non una normale trasposizione. Infatti tra i crediti possiamo notare nomi come Mamoru Oshii (anche regista di Patlabor 1 e 2 (1989/1993)); Takashi Watabe che ha curato gli splendidi sfondi per quest’anime e il character design di Hiroyuki Okiura.  La storia è ambientata in un futuro prossimo dove umani e cyborg convivono pacificamente e gli innesti cybernetici sono ormai cosa frequente nei corpi degli individui, dove soltanto lo spirito umano vi risiede e dove rappresenta gli ultimi residui di umanità. Il cyber-agente Motoko Kusanagi, nella caccia di tutti i giorni, si imbatte in un criminale chiamato “IL Signore dei Pupazzi” che ha la capacità di intromettersi nei pensieri delle proprie vittime. Le ricerche porteranno Kusanagi attraverso intrighi politici e corruzione, e, in seguito, a riflessioni filosofiche sulla sua vita e sul suo destino.  La storia, che prende spunto dal manga ma si sviluppa per vie proprie, è appassionante e fantastica: un lungometraggio d’animazione lontano da ogni classificazione. La realizzazione è impeccabile; tra character design, sfondi e computer grafica (atta a illustrare il mondo cybernetico in cui si svolge la storia) assistiamo ad un prodigio degno di pochissimi confronti. Le atmosfere oniriche sono alternate ai momenti d’azione e il tutto è incorniciato da una fotografia stupenda, il che crea un prodotto unico, consigliato a tutti gli adulti. A chi non conosce le filosofie giapponesi in relazione alle produzioni animate questo è il primo e grande passo verso un mondo tecnicamente a parte.  Le eroine di Shirow quì risplendono in tutto il loro essere, infatti il character design è molto valido. Il disegno è realizzato con una pulizia impressionante e anche le animazioni non sono da meno. Lo script di Kazunori Ito è ben bilanciato e porta lo spettatore, tra riflessioni ed azione, fino al bandolo della matassa cui la storia fa perno. Degna di mensione la stupenda colonna sonora che accompagna il lungometraggio e, in particolare, i bellissimi temi di apertura e chiusura oltre al brano “One Minute Warning” dei Passengers (ovvero l’album sperimentale degli u2 qui accompagnati da Brian Eno ).  ”Ghost in the Shell” è il primo anime ad essere uscito nelle sale contemporaneamente in Giappone, in Inghilterra e negli States. Il film è arrivato in Italia nel 1995, dopo la presentazione mondiale che la Bandai Visual e la Manga Entertainment hanno intrapreso, ed ha avuto l’onore di essere presentato alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia (il primo anime in assoluto nella storia del festival lagunare), oltre che ad una grande quantità di premi in giro per il mondo, nei vari festival in cui è stato presentato. Una nuova edizione in DVD è edita dalla Panini Video .

The year was 1995, when Bandai Visual inserted in its catalog a new animated feature: Ghost in the Shell. The story is set in a near future where cyborgs and humans coexist peacefully and grafts Cybernetica what are now common in the bodies of individuals, where only the human spirit resides there and where is the last remnants of humanity. The cyber-agent Motoko Kusanagi, hunting every day, he runs into a criminal called “The Puppet Master” who has the ability to intrude into the thoughts of its victims. Research leads Kusanagi through political intrigue and corruption, and, later, to philosophical reflections on his life and his destiny. The story is inspired from the manga but it develops its own way, is exciting and wonderful: an animated feature away from each classification. The construction is impeccable, including character design, backgrounds and computer graphics (which would explain the Cybernetica world where the story takes place) are witnessing a miracle worthy of a few comparisons. The dreamlike atmospheres are alternated with moments of action and the whole is framed by a beautiful photograph, which creates a unique product, recommended for all adults. Who does not know the philosophies in relation to the Japanese animated productions and this is the first major step towards a world apart technically. Heroines of Shirow here glorying in their being, in fact, the character design is very good. The design is made with a clean impressive and the animations are not even less. Script Kazunori Ito is well balanced and makes the viewer, between reflection and action, to disentangle the skein which history pivots. Worthy of Mention the wonderful soundtrack that accompanies the film and, in particular the beautiful themes in addition to opening and closing track “One Minute Warning” by Passengers (U2 or the experimental album here accompanied by Brian Eno). “Ghost in the Shell” is the first anime to be released simultaneously in theaters in Japan, England and the States. The film arrived in Italy in 1995, after the world, Bandai Visual and Manga Entertainment have begun, and had the honor of being presented at the Venice Film Festival (the first anime ever in the history of the festival lagoon ) as well as a lot of awards around the world, in various festivals in which it was submitted. A new DVD edition is published by Panini Video.

FUKUOKA (Giappone), 15 novembre 2009 – Dopo il grande successo di ieri sul Brasile, l’Italia batte anche il Giappone e fa sua la Grand Champions Cup. E’ la prima volta che le azzurre conquistano questo torneo, nato nel 1993 per far incontrare, nell’anno post-olimpico, sei nazionali: le vincitrici dei campionati europei, asiatici, nordamericani e sudamericani, il Giappone (paese che ospita la manifestazione fin dalla prima edizione) e una squadra invitata dalla federazione internazionale.
