LOS ANGELES – È morta per cause naturali l’attrice Brittany Murphy, 32 anni. A dirlo è il coroner che ha esaminato il corpo, secondo alcune indiscrezioni invece,che circolano sulla stampa inglese, l’attrice potrebbe essere stata uccisa da un’overdose di tranquillanti e antidolorifici, farmaci da cui l’attrice – per ammissione degli amici più stretti – dipendeva ormai da tempo. Fra questi anche il Vicodin, medicinale che faceva parte del mix letale anche per Michael Jackson, prescrittole in seguito ad una serie di operazioni di chirurgia plastica. L’attrice è morta domenica a Los Angeles. Lo ha riferito Sally Stewar, portavoce del Cedars Sinai Medical Center, dove era stata trasportata dai medici del pronto intervento. Il coroner, o medico legale, ha dichiarato: «Le cause della morte appaiono naturali». L’attrice era sposata con il produttore Simon Monjack. Dopo una telefonata al pronto soccorso, Murphy è stata trasportata al Cedars Sinai Medical Center, dove i medici ne hanno constatato il decesso. La giovane attrice sarebbe morta sotto la doccia e il corpo sarebbe stato ritrovato dalla madre. Le cause del decesso sono ancora sconosciute, ma secondo i primi resoconti si è trattato di un arresto cardiaco. Il sito di gossip TMZ, che per primo ha dato la notizia della morte, ha scritto che nel bagno dove è stata ritrovata la donna c’era «molto vomito».
