La Warner Bros. ha diffuso online il primo trailer di “The Losers”, l’adattamento cinematografico della omonima serie di Andy Diggle diretto dal regista Sylvain White e interpretato da Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Holt McCallany, Oscar Jaenada, Jason Patric e Peter Macdissi. La pellicola sarà nelle sale americane dal 9 aprile, in Italia in estate.Quindi faciamo un bel “focus on” sulla serie!
The Losers è un fumetto pubblicato dalla Vertigo stampato dalla DC Comics, scritto da Andy Diggle e disegnato da Jock. Basato su un vecchio e semi-sconosciuto fumetto DC dedicato ad un team di soldati della Seconda Guerra Mondiale; questa nuova serie porta la vicenda ai giorni nostri, aggiornando tematiche e personaggi: il gruppo di soldati diventa così un team delle force speciali che dichiara guerra alla CIA dopo che l’Agenzia ha cercato di “licenziarli” con un attentato.Andy Diggle riutilizza i concetti di base (situazioni e alchimia tra i personaggi) dell’A-Team, telefilm di culto, incrociandoli con le classiche avventure alla Missione Impossibile: due ispirazioni non rinnegate affatto dal team di autori, ma citate apertamente in un paio di dialoghi.
Pubblicazioni : Il fumetto aveva cadenza mensile e si è concluso a Marzo 2006. Da notare come i titoli dei vari archi narrativi, nella versione americana, si rifanno ad elementi e riferimenti della politica e della cultura pop, mentre nella versione italiana, si rifanno (in 4 casi su 5) a terminologie molto vicine ai giochi di carte.

The Losers is a comic book published by Vertigo printed by DC Comics, written by Andy Diggle and illustrated by Jock. Based on an old and little-noted DC comic book dedicated to a team of soldiers from World War II, this new series brings the story to the present day, updating themes and characters: a group of soldiers becomes a Special Forces team of declaring war the CIA after the Agency has sought to “sack” with a attentato.Andy Diggle reuses the basic concepts (situations and chemistry between the characters) of the A-Team, TV programs of worship, crossed with the classic adventures to Mission Impossible Two inspirations not deny at all from the team of authors, but openly mentioned in a couple of dialogues.
