Batman RIPBatman R.I.P. è una saga di Batman, pubblicata dalla DC Comics, dal maggio al novembre 2008, nella collana Batman, dal n. 676 al n. 681.Scritta da Grant Morrison r disegnata da Tony Daniel.

La storia vede Batman affrontare un’associazione criminale nota come il Scritta da Grant Guanto Nero. Catturato dal dottor Simon Hurt, usando abilità psicologiche e psichiatriche, Batman impazzisce e viene spedito ad affrontare il Joker nel manicomio di Arkham. Sconfitto, viene seppellito vivo dal Guanto Nero, ma riesce a fuggire grazie a Robin e Nightwing. Quindi, combatte la sua ultima battaglia con il dottor Hurt, finché l’elicottero sul quale combattono non precipita, uccidendoli. Sei mesi dopo, mentre un criminale sta massacrando un poliziotto, improvvisamente un Bat-segnale viene proiettato su di lui. La traduzione in lingua italiana è ad opera dalla Planeta DeAgostini, che pubblica la saga nel volume Batman R.I.P. del novembre 2009.
Batman R.I.P. is a saga of Batman published by DC Comics, from May to November 2008, in the Batman series, from No At No. 676 681. The story sees Batman face criminal association known as the Black Glove Captured by Dr. Simon Hurt, using psychiatric and psychological skills, Batman goes crazy and is sent to face the Joker in Arkham asylum. Defeated, is buried alive by the black glove, but manages to escape thanks to Robin and Nightwing. Then, fighting his last battle with Dr. Hurt, who fought on until the helicopter does not crash, killing him. Six months later, when a criminal is killing a policeman, suddenly a Bat-signal is projected onto him. The Italian translation is by the Planeta De Agostini, which publishes the book in the saga Batman RIP November 2009.
