Il 9 novembre ricorre il ventennale della caduta
Il miniconcerto che gli U2 terranno oggi di fronte alla porta di Brandeburgo a Berlino è l’evento simbolo della 15/a edizione degli Mtv Europe Music Awards che celebreranno contemporaneamente il quindicesimo anno e faranno da prologo alla cerimonia con i capi di Stato per il ventennale della caduta del muro. E’ la prima volta nella sua storia che gli Ema si svolgono per la seconda volta nella stessa città: proprio a Berlino si è svolta la prima edizione, ricordata per la perfomance di George Michael che cantò ‘Freedom’ (Libertà) davanti alla porta di Brandeburgo.
Gli U2 suoneranno di pomeriggio, per un concerto che rappresenterà un unicum nella loro carriera e del quale solo una parte sarà trasmessa durante la diretta, in onda in tutto il mondo su Mtv dalle 21 a mezzanotte, con un cast formato da Beyoncé, aggiunta all’ultimo momento, Jay-Z, che è il compagno di Beyoncé, Shakira, i Green Day, i Foo Fighters e i Tokyo Hotel, star del rock adolescenziale nati nell’ex Germania dell’Est. La scaletta della performance della band irlandes è stata ancora stabilita, ma si sa già che la performance live di uno dei brani del loro ultimo album diventerà il loro nuovo video. A presentare lo show sarà Kate Perry, mentre la lista degli ospiti “premiatori” comprende David Hasslehoff, star di serie tv come Baywatch, la rapper Lil Kim, il campione mondiale dei pesi massimi Wladimir Klitschko, Jonas Brothers, attori come Jean Reno, Asia Argento e Juliette Lewis, la supermodel Bar Refaeli. The miniconcert that U2 held today in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin is the symbol of the event 15 / a MTV Europe Music Awards will celebrate the fifteenth year and both will work as a prologue to the ceremony with the heads of state for the twenty-year the fall of the wall. Il film racconta la storia del mitico fuorilegge dell’epoca della Grande Depressione Economica Americana, John Dillinger (Johnny Depp)—il carismatico rapinatore di banche reso dai suoi raid lampo l’obiettivo principale del migliore agente dell’FBI dei tempi di J. Edgar Hoover, Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale), e divenuto una sorta di eroe popolare agli occhi degli americani di quel periodo. Nessuno poteva fermare Dillinger e la sua banda. Non esisteva prigione dalla quale non riuscisse ad evadere. Il suo carisma e le rocambolesche fughe dalle prigioni lo rendevano interessante agli occhi di tutti — da quelli della sua fidanzata Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard) a quelli del pubblico Americano che non aveva simpatia per le banche responsabili di aver fatto precipitare il paese nella depressione. Ma mentre le avventure di Dillinger e della sua banda — che nell’ultimo periodo comprendeva anche due individui sociopatici dal nome Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham) e Alvin Karpis (Giovanni Ribisi) — intrigavano i più, Hoover (Billy Crudup) si riproponeva di utilizzare la pubblicità che la cattura del criminale avrebbe potuto generare in suo favore per trasformare il suo “Bureau of Investigation” nel dipartimento di polizia nazionale che è adesso l’FBI. Fece pertanto di Dillinger il primo Nemico Pubblico Numero Uno degli Stati Uniti d’America, mettendogli alle calcagna Purvis, l’affascinante “Clark Gable dell’FBI’’.
Plot:
The film tells the story of the legendary outlaw of the Great Depression era U.S. economy, John Dillinger (Johnny Depp)-the charismatic bank robber made his lightning raid on the main objective of the best times of FBI agent J. Edgar Hoover, Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale) has become a sort of folk hero in the eyes of Americans of that period. Nobody could stop Dillinger and his gang. There was no prison from which it failed to escape. His charisma and incredible escapes from prison made it attractive to everyone – from those of his girlfriend Billie Frechette (Marion Cotillard) to those of the American public that he had sympathy for the banks responsible for having plunged the country into depression. But while the adventures of Dillinger and his gang – the most recent period included two individuals from the sociopaths name Baby Face Nelson (Stephen Graham) and Alvin Karpis (Giovanni Ribisi) – the most intrigued, Hoover (Billy Crudup) was designed to use the public that the capture of the criminal could have generated in its favor to make his “Bureau of Investigation” in the national police department who is now the FBI. He therefore Dillinger’s first Public Enemy Number One of the United States of America, putting their heels Purvis, the fascinating “Clark Gable FBI.”
